This summer advertising campaign encouraged residents of Chicago and the northern suburbs, who would otherwise visit Wisconsin or Michigan, to consider Lake County, Illinois as a getaway destination.
Our Let’s Go Next Weekend campaign highlighted the county’s many attractions for a quick, impulse summer getaway. The campaign included an Adventure Kit, TV, Radio, print, outdoor and digital components.
Year-over-year visitor spending increased 5% to $1.26 billion. The campaign generated 504,723 unique visitors to the website, with over 1.6 million page views—an increase of 33%. The total campaign delivered 24.6 million target impressions.
